Therapies Used in Our Montana Treatment Programs
New Frontier Recovery Center combines several evidence-based therapies inside detox and residential treatment at 591 Squaw Creek Rd in Huntley, Montana. Cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma therapy are delivered through group, individual, and family sessions, with the balance matched to each person during a clinical assessment.
Treatment at New Frontier Recovery Center is built from several therapies that work together across a stay, from the first days of detox through residential care and discharge planning. No single approach does the whole job. Behavioral therapy helps a person recognize and change the thoughts and situations that lead to use, skills work builds new ways to handle stress and strong emotions, and family sessions repair the relationships that addiction strains. Each one is delivered inside substance use treatment at our Huntley, Montana facility, not as a standalone service.
The therapies used here are cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma therapy, along with group therapy, individual therapy, and family therapy. Which ones a person receives, and in what balance, is a clinical decision based on their history, the substance involved, and any co-occurring conditions. This page introduces each modality and links to a fuller explanation of how it is used in our residential program.
