Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a website that works for everyone, and how to tell us if something is not accessible.
Our commitment
New Frontier Recovery Center is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification. People often reach a treatment website at a hard moment, sometimes late at night and on a phone, and the site should work for them.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites. This is a general statement of our commitment and our ongoing effort rather than a claim that every page is perfect at every moment.
What we work toward
Building toward WCAG 2.1 AA means paying attention to the details that make a site usable for everyone. We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining the site rather than an afterthought.
- Text that has sufficient color contrast against its background
- Meaningful alternative text for images that convey information
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Clear headings, labels, and link text that make sense out of context
- Content that adapts to smaller screens and larger text sizes
Ongoing effort and third-party content
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the site as we add and update content and correct issues as we find them. We do not rely on an accessibility overlay or widget as a substitute for building the site accessibly, because overlays do not make a site conformant on their own.
Some content or functionality provided by third parties may be partly outside our direct control. Where that is the case, we work to choose accessible options and to address barriers that are brought to our attention.
Report an accessibility barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this website, or if you need information from the site in a different format, we want to hear from you and will work to help. Tell us the page and what happened, and if it helps, the device or assistive technology you were using.
Contact New Frontier Recovery Center at [email protected] or (406) 717-7625, or write to 591 Squaw Creek Rd, Huntley, MT 59037. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond and work toward a fix.
